Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The data controller is the Publisher of the Service (see Legal Notice): Mr Louis Pierre AMOUGOU, operating under the “AllWays Eat” trade name, at Nkolbisson (behind the Catholic Institute), Yaoundé VII, Cameroon. For any question regarding your data: privacy@allwayseat.com.

2. Data collected

Depending on your use, we collect:

  • Account: phone number, name, email address (optional), language.
  • Orders: content, amount, mode (delivery/pickup), delivery address and geolocation coordinates (point chosen on the map), history, status, reviews.
  • Service behaviour: number of orders, no-shows, account status.
  • Restaurateurs: establishment information, location, contact details, subscription and billing.
  • Technical data: connection logs, IP address, anti-fraud security data.

3. Purposes

Your data is processed to: create and manage your account; enable the placing, transmission and tracking of Orders; calculate the delivery zone/fees; ensure security and prevent fraud/abuse; manage Partners’ subscriptions; improve the Service; and meet our legal obligations.

4. Basis and consent

Processing is based, as the case may be, on the performance of the contract (Terms of Use / Partnership Agreement), our legitimate interest (security, improvement), compliance with legal obligations, or your consent (non-essential trackers).

5. Recipients and sub-processors

Your data is accessible, strictly as necessary, to:

  • The relevant Partner Restaurant, to fulfil the Order (name, phone, delivery address/point).
  • Our technical providers acting on our behalf: host LWS (Ligne Web Services), Google’s mapping/geocoding and anti-bot services (Google Maps Platform, reCAPTCHA), the Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) notification service, and, where applicable, the Mobile Money operators (MTN, Orange) for Partners’ subscriptions.

We do not sell your data.

6. Cookies and trackers

The Service uses trackers strictly necessary for its operation and security, notably Google reCAPTCHA (anti-bot protection of the partner form) and, where applicable, an audience-measurement tool. Non-essential trackers are only placed with your consent.

7. Transfers outside Cameroon

Some providers (hosting, Google Maps/reCAPTCHA) may process data outside Cameroon. We ensure that such transfers are accompanied by appropriate security and confidentiality safeguards.

8. Retention period

Data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes: for the lifetime of the account, then deleted within a reasonable time after closure (unless a legal retention obligation applies); billing data according to accounting and tax obligations (OHADA); security logs for a limited period.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures (access encryption, authentication, access control) to protect your data against any unauthorised access, in accordance with the cybersecurity law.

10. Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection regarding your data, within the limits provided by law. Exercise them at privacy@allwayseat.com, with proof of identity if necessary.

11. Minors

The Service is not intended for minors; we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Amendments

This policy may be updated. The version in force is published on the Service with its date.
